With states determined to lower their jail populations, legislators are being pushed by well financed and highly coordinated activists into releasing dangerous criminals back onto your streets. Does the media and political elites see the err of their ways? No, instead they are turning up the rhetoric, calling for softer crime policies. Now media and politicians call for defunding police and in communities where those policies have been put into action, violent crime rates have doubled. They demonize police while elevating the image of criminal behavior as if it’s some form of social justice. Media is as responsible as the political class. Americans are left waiting while the problem grows. Crime erodes the fabric of a prosperous society.Īmericans have been told that public safety is a priority by our elected officials but after elections they only offer excuses instead of results. Dangerous drugs make their way into our schools and homes. Maybe you or someone you know is the victim of a robbery, assault or even a petty theft. In some communities, good people are prisoners in their own homes because of gang violence and threats from a criminal class who are emboldened by the soft policies coming from our leaders. Maybe it’s a son or daughter who gets involved with the wrong crowd and their life spirals out of control. Too many lives are being ruined by crime and we are victims in many ways. ![]()
